JACKY ZHENG is the proud founder of 2Turs. Raised by immigrant parents who taught him the value of hard work, 21-year-old Jacky started 2Turs as a rallying cry against current conventions of tutoring.
By leveraging digital tools and online resources, tutoring can be done more efficiently and cost effectively than ever before. Yet, why have prices only risen?
As an avid learner and a dedicated student, I understand the value of hard work and passion. That's why I believe that every child should have the right to access affordable tutoring services without any compromises made on education.
What's stopping you from your academic aspirations?
My answer?
Nothing.
It is my firm belief that education inequities are made to be squashed. You don't need to pay the cost of a car to ensure that your child receives the same tutelage as I have. There should be no reason why, given enough effort and drive, you can't achieve just as much as your most accomplished peers have.
What makes me a student isn't a 1580 on the SAT.
What makes me a student isn't 13 AP classes.
What makes me a student isn't an admittance to an elite school.
What makes me a student is drive.
What makes me a student is passion.
What makes me a student is a willingness, an eagerness, a hunger to learn.
Through our time, I hope I can instill that same hunger in you.
